Bart Harrison celebrated his 17th birthday in style as he took home three rookie podiums at the demanding Knockhill circuit in Round 7 of British F4.
Qualifying got the weekend off to a good start, with Bart starting his first race in P6, his best qualifying so far of the 2024 season and just 0.3s from pole position. Race one followed with a red flag on the opening lap, and despite constant pressure on the restart, Bart was able to stay ahead of a fellow rookie and finished P9 overall and P3 in the Rookies.
Race 2 on Sunday morning was the reverse grid race, with Bart starting P7. Bart executed an overtake on the first lap and moved to P6, which he was able to defend for the remainder of the race, gaining his second Rookie podium of the weekend, this time P2.
For the final race of the weekend, Bart again started in sixth place. With constant pressure from behind, Bart drove with precision to hold his position all the way to the chequered flag. This resulted in a further P6 finish overall for Bart, and a third Rookie podium of the weekend, and second P2 Rookie finish.

What Bart had to say:
“Knockhill is a tight and challenging track and I am pleased to achieve three rookie podium finishes on my first visit there.
"I pushed hard, despite having no team mates to work with this time around, and with every outing the experience I gain gives me more confidence about my ability to compete with the best in this class.
"I am so excited about the next round, at Donington, later this month.”
