Bart Harrison continued the success of his British F4 campaign at Brands Hatch this weekend. Coming off the back of two rookie podiums at the opening weekend at Donington Park, Bart fought fiercely to take silver in the rookie class in the final race of the weekend.
Qualifying on Saturday saw Bart lined up to start P15 in Race 1 (due to his second fastest lap time) and P17 in Race 2 and Race 3, despite being less than 0.5s off pole. Bart showcased his overtaking prowess in all three races, undeterred by Brands Hatch being a notoriously difficult track to make a pass and with just 20 minutes on the clock for each race.
Bart gained two positions in Race 1 on Saturday to finish P13. After discussions with his team about how to make gains and where, Bart put their advice to work on Sunday gaining six positions in Race 2 to finish P11. For the final race of the weekend, Bart fought hard through the field, making the most of the first corner - this paid off with Bart gaining 8 places in the race, finishing with Championship points and gaining a second place podium in the rookie cup.
